Webbing grain refers to the texture of the woven threads that make up the material. A tighter grain indicates a more densely packed weave that is very durable and smooth to the touch. It is less prone to snagging or tearing. A looser grain has a more open weave that is slightly more pliable but less hardwearing. The grain can also impact the webbing's weight carrying capacity. At YIYI, we ensure our webbing always has a tight grain for maximum strength.

Our recycled polyester webbing diverts plastic bottles from landfills, while our GOTS certified organic cotton straps are grown without harmful chemicals. Both materials undergo the same rigorous quality standards as our virgin products yet are better for the planet. While many strap manufacturers offer a basic selection of black, gray, and navy blue, YIYI is renowned for its vast rainbow of webbing colors. We have over 50 shades in our catalog that are frequently updated with new seasonal hues.

All of our colors are solution-dyed for maximum colorfastness, ensuring they will not fade or bleed even after years of exposure to sun and elements. Some of our signature and best-selling tones include robin's egg blue, tangerine, kelly green, mandarin orange, and bright royal purple.
